LEMON TEA COOKIES | |
2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. milk 1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg Lemon Glaze Heat oven to 350°F. Stir lemon juice into milk, set aside. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Beat butter and egg, add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to butter mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-14 minutes. Brush on glaze. LEMON GLAZE: Stir together 3/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup lemon juice. |
