HONEY BALLS (STRUFOLI) 
3 eggs
1/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. Crisco
1 1/2 tbsp. liquor (whiskey)
1 1/2 c. flour (if dough is too sticky, add more flour)
Crisco oil to fry

Mix everything together (except frying oil). Roll pieces of dough into pencil-sized strips. Cut strips into small pieces (1/4 inch diameter). Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Lift out with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

In saucepan (or non-stick pan), bring to a boil:

1/2 c. honey
1/2 tbsp. sugar

Remove from heat. Add dough bits to honey mixture. Arrange in a circle on a dish (place a glass in center of dish so dough bits form a wreath-like circle). Garnish with tiny round candies (sprinkles). Remove glass once set.
