PINEAPPLE PUNCH 
2 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cold water
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
2 (46 oz.) cans unsweetened pineapple juice
Juice of 1 lemon
3 c. cold water
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. food coloring (color of your choice)
2 qt. 7-Up

Combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil and cook 3 minutes. Mix together 3 tablespoons cold water and the gelatin; add to syrup. Add remaining ingredients, except 7-Up, and mix well. Freeze mixture for at least 24 hours (part of mixture can be frozen in empty juice cans). Remove from freezer approximately 1 hour before serving. Put in large punch bowl and add the 7-Up. Mix with spoon until slushy.
