1/4 c. vinegar
2 1/2 heaping tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. bacon grease (more or less)
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt

Add water to vinegar and sugar to make a full cup. Stir well and set aside. Mix bacon grease, flour and salt well. Pour with vinegar mix and stir like gravy. Pour over lettuce and onions. GOOD AS SNUFF!
