DELICIOUS BEEF STEW 
2 lb. stew meat (don't brown)
1 bunch carrots, cut in hunks
1 c. celery, cut up
3 onions, quartered
1 tbsp. sugar
Pepper to taste
1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. tapioca
1 lg. can tomatoes, drained

Put all the above ingredients in a casserole and bake in 250 degree oven covered for 5 hours. Don't peek while it is cooking. It will be browned and juicy after 5 hours.
