BARBECUED PORK CHOPS 
8 lean center cut pork chops
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. vinegar
1 bay leaf

Brown pork chops in hot fat. Place in large casserole or Pyrex dish. Pour over them the combined remaining ingredients. Cover and bake in moderate oven (325 degrees) for 1 1/2 hours. One half hour before chops are done, a can or 2 of small white potatoes may be added. Baste a few times with the sauce. Serves 6-8.
