CORN CHOWDER | |
3 tbsp. butter 1 c. diced ham 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. celery, chopped 1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth 1 (15 oz.) can Stokley canned potatoes 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can Stokley whole kernel corn, drained 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can Stokley creamed corn 1 (2 oz.) jar sliced pimentos 1/2 pt. heavy cream 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese Salt & pepper to taste Melt butter in large saucepan. Saute ham, onion, celery and green pepper until onions are transparent. Slice potatoes and add along with chicken broth, corn and pimentos. Simmer 5 minutes. Stir in cheese until melted. Add cream. Salt and pepper. |
