EASY BAKED SPAGHETTI 
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 tbsp. shortening
2 c. water
2 tsp. chili powder
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
2 cans tomato soup
8 oz. uncooked spaghetti

Saute onion and garlic in shortening; add beef and cook until light brown. Drain excess grease. Mix in water, soup and chili powder and cook a few minutes. Break spaghetti into greased 2 1/2 quart casserole. Pour on sauce mixture and stir until well mixed. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove cover. Stir, add cheese to top, do not stir in. Bake another 15 minutes.
