HONEY AND BANANA SHERBET 
Juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
Juice of 2 oranges
3 bananas
1/4 c. honey
3 c. water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Mash bananas to a pulp; add lemon and orange juice and rind. Bring water to a boil. Dissolve honey in it; add to fruit and mix well. Cool and fold in egg whites. Pour into refrigerator tray to freeze, stirring twice as it begins to set. Serves 4.
