BUTTERMILK PIE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 rounded tbsp. flour
dash of nutmeg (optional)
2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells

Have butter soft. Add sugar; cream together well. Add flour and eggs; beat well. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla (dash of nutmeg if desired). Pour into unbaked pie shells.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°F. Place on wire rack to cool completely before cutting.
