MONKEY BREAD | |
2 cans biscuits 3/4 c. sugar 3/4 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. nuts, chopped 2 tsp. cinnamon Cut each biscuit into quarters. Combine sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Drop in the biscuit pieces, a few at a time and shake bag to coat pieces. Layer the pieces, without crowding in a 9"x5" loaf pan. In a small saucepan combine butter and the remaining teaspoon cinnamon. Add enough sugar to the coating mixture to equal 1 cup. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool 15 minutes. Stir in nuts and spoon over biscuits in pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. Pull off portions as desired. |
