SWISS CHEESE POTATOES 
5 c. shredded potatoes (submerge in salt water while shredding)
1 c. shredded or grated Swiss cheese
2 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 beaten egg

Mix together and put in a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle top lightly with garlic powder and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.
