PUMPKIN SQUARES 
2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
4 eggs
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. mincemeat
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and allspice together; set aside. Beat eggs, add sugars gradually and mix well. Blend in melted butter, nuts, mincemeat and pumpkin. Add dry ingredients to pumpkin mixture, mixing just enough to combine ingredients. Pour into a greased jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch. Bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Cool and frost. Makes 36-40 squares.
