CRESCENT AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE 
1 can of 8 refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 lb. ground sausage
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
4 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk
Salt and pepper, if desired

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9 x 13 greased baking dish, press dough 1 inch up to the side of the pan, sealing perforations. Bake crust according to package directions, set aside.

Cook sausage and bell pepper until browned; drain. Spread sausage and bell pepper over crust. Top with cheese. Heat milk, just until warm and add eggs; pour over ingredients in casserole. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Makes 6 servings, with each serving containing 562 calories.
