CREAM PIE FILLING 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 eggs, beaten

Melt butter and stir in flour until smooth. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Add boiling water, stirring constantly until thick and smooth.
