SKILLET CORNBREAD | |
1 c. flour 1 c. cornmeal 3 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 egg, beaten 1 1/4 c. milk 1/4 c. oil Sift together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt. Combine egg, milk, and oil. Add to dry ingredients, mix quickly and turn into skillet. Cover. Cook over low heat 30-35 minutes until top springs back when touched. Can be used for oven baking, same cooking time, 350 degrees. |
