GREEK COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 egg yolk
2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. cognac
Confectioners' sugar
Whole cloves

Cream butter and sugar, add yolk and cognac. Mix well. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Shape in 1 inch balls. Insert a whole clove in top of each. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and dust with sifted confectioners' sugar. Yield: 4 dozen.
