GREEK COOKIES 
1 lb. soft sweet butter, unsalted (DO NOT SUBSTITUTE)
1 c. powdered sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix above ingredients in mixer, add 3 1/2 cups flour and mix in with hands, if necessary. Make into small balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees until light brown, about 18 to 20 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet and remove.

ICING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp. milk

Cream together butter, vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat well. Add powdered sugar and milk alternately. Tint desired color. Decorate cookies.
