Easy Baked Pork Chops

I am lazy so I have always put in pork chops, chunk up some potatoes, season with whatever you like, add small can of cream of chicken soup, add one can of water and cover with tin foil. Bake at 350°F for 2 hours. Turns out perfect every time.

I have made something similar for years, but without the cream soup. Who needs the extra fat and calories. I just sprinkle the dry onion soup mix under and over the pork chops (works great with lamb too), add some sliced tomatoes, and a little water. The tomatoes cook down and add to the broth. Much healthier and still yummy.

Thank goodness for this recipe. I have never prepared pork until now. I added sour cream as well to make it a bit thicker, I also added cooking wine instead of water. Pretty tasty.

I love this recipe. I don't add any water or milk. I just spread the onion soup mix over the meat and then the cream of mushroom soup. I cook it at 300°F degrees for about an hour and a half for 1 inch pork chops.

I haven't made this receipe for years but remembered it when I saw it here. I too brown chops and then scrape the bits off the skillet and add it to the soup mixture. When all is done, I grab the sour cream and drop a big dollop and stir it around - yummy

This recipe was a big hit in our house. I made it with 99% fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup, a package of Lipton's Onion Soup Mix and 1/2 can of fat free half & half. It was delicious and easy! We served it over a bag of No Yolk egg noodles. I will definitely make this again!

My family enjoyed it! I thought the gravy was a little too runny, but; we all really liked the dish.

This was very good - can't figure out where Edward (from TN) came up with FOUR cans of water!! I did however only use 1/2 pkg of the onion soup. I also have used this recipe for years on Round Steak - it works great and it comes out very tender - again time depends on thickness of meat!

My husband and daughter do not like mushrooms. Has anyone ever tried this with cream of chicken? Any thoughts if that is ok to switch?

Loved this recipe. I used Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup and added some white cooking wine, but overall, the best baked chops I've ever had. Moist and the gravy is just great. Thanks Lisa Witherspoon.
