DISAPPEARING MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES | |
1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch pieces 1/2 c. butter 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. miniature marshmallows 3/4 c. nuts, chopped Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of a 10" x 15" pan, then set aside. In 3-quart heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter and butterscotch chips, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Sift together flour, powder and salt. To butterscotch mixture, add eggs and vanilla. Mix in sifted dry ingredients, stirring well. Add to the batter the marshmallows, nuts and chocolate chips. Fold until combined and pieces are coated. Spread in prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Center will be jiggly but firms after cooled. Cut into bars. |
