FRIED CABBAGE 
1 head cabbage
2 or 3 bay leaves
1/2 to 1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. olive oil

In a large iron skillet, put oil and bay leaves. When oil is hot, add washed and chopped cabbage and salt and pepper to taste. When cabbage is almost done, add chopped onion. Turn off heat and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
