TURKEY SALAD PITAS | |
1/4 c. low-fat, low sodium Swiss cheese, cut into thin strips 1/2 c. cooked, cubed turkey 1 tbsp. thinly sliced green onion 1 1/2 c. chopped vegetables (celery, cucumber, zucchini, green pepper, etc.) Combine and chill. Prepare dressing. DRESSING: 1/4 c. low or no-fat plain yogurt 1 tbsp. lite mayonnaise 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard (salad or dijon style) Dash or more (as desired) black pepper Mix dressing with meat, cheese, and vegetables. This will fill 2 large (6 1/2 inch) pitas - whole wheat or of choice, or more smaller pitas which may be halved and filled for appetizers. |
