BLONDE BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add gradually. Spread batter on cookie sheet. Sprinkle chips on top. After first 5 minutes of baking, use knife to swirl chips. Bake 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool, then cut in squares. Makes about 35.
