GREEN PEPPER STEAK 
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 garlic clove
1/4 c. salad oil
1 lb. round steak, cut into 1" cubes
1 green pepper, cut into 1" cubes
1 lg. onion, coarsely chopped
1/2 c. diced celery
1 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut in eighths

Mix soy sauce, garlic and salad oil together and pour on steak cubes. Let set for 1 hour. Pour into frying pan. Allow meat to brown thoroughly on all sides. Add peppers, onions and celery. Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes over low heat or until vegetables are tender. Stir in cornstarch dissolved in water. Stir until thickened. Add tomatoes; cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes or until meat is tender to serve over boiled rice. Makes 4 servings.
