BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 3/4 c. all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. salad oil
2 1/2 c. light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine salad oil and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.

Spread batter in a well greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cut into squares when cool. Makes 35 (1 1/2 inch) squares.
