3 sticks butter 3 c. sugar 6 eggs 3 c. cake flour 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. sour cream 2 tsp. butter flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract Lemon Glaze: 4 tbsp. butter, melted 1 1/2 c. 10x powdered sugar 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind 4 tbsp. lemon juice Allow butter to soften at room temperature; then blend in sugar and eggs. Stir in flour sifted with soda and salt. Add sour cream, butter, flavoring, vanilla extract and almond extract. Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan. Bake at 350°F for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
