OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. lemon extract
2/3 c. coconut (optional)

Cream butter and shortening; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Combine flour and baking powder, and gradually add to cream mixture, alternately with milk. Stir in flavorings and coconut. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

GLAZE:

1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. powdered sugar
