CREAMY RICE PUDDING 
1/2 c. rice, not instant
1 c. water
1/2 stick butter
3 1/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins (optional)

Bring water to boil. Add rice, cover and cook until water is gone. Add butter to rice. Add milk to rice, cover and cook for 1 hour, stirring often. Add raisins.

Beat eggs slightly and combine with sugar and vanilla. Add slowly to rice mixture and stir until mixture thickens. Sprinkle with cinnamon and refrigerate.
