CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 well beaten eggs

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. chocolate chips
5 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 15 x 10 inch or 13 x 9 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine all 4 ingredients; stir by hand until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until done. Cool.

Frosting: In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter, and milk; bring to boil and let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate pieces until smooth. Pour over partially cooled cake.
