CREAM WAFERS 
1 c. butter
2 c. sifted flour
1/3 c. cream

Combine butter and flour, then add cream. Refrigerate overnight. Work with 1/3 of dough at a time. Refrigerate remaining dough until ready to use. Roll out dough until approximately 1/4 inch thick and cut into 1 1/2 to 2 inch circles. Turn rounds in granulated sugar. Prick with fork 4 times. Bake at 375 degrees for about 9 to 12 minutes or until light brown on bottom. Put 2 wafers together with icing.

ICING:

1/4 c. butter
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. powdered sugar

Combine butter and egg, then add the remaining ingredients.
