HAM SWIRLS
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. lukewarm tomato juice
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. melted shortening
1 1/2 tsp. celery salt
2 tbsp. dry onion soup mix
2 1/2 c. flour
Cheese spread
Mustard
Ham

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine the remaining ingredients, except flour. Add flour gradually, beating well after each addition. Place dough in greased bowl; turn to grease top. Cover and let rise until double in size.

Divide dough in 3 parts. Roll each into 5"x12" rectangles. Spread each with cheese spread and mustard. Place overlapping slices of ham on top; roll each jelly roll style. Cut into slices 3/4" thick. Place on greased baking sheet and let rise in warm place until light, about 1 hour.

Bake in 400 degree oven until lightly brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Do not over bake. Makes about 35. Freezes well.
