3 c. apple cinnamon Cheerios 2 c. pecan halves 1 c. whole almonds 1 c. Chow mein noodles 2 egg whites 1 c. sugar 2 tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine Cheerios, pecans, almonds, and chow mein. Spread onto a greased baking sheet. In a small mixing bowl, combine egg, sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour over cereal mix, stirring to coat well. Bake 35 to 40 minutes stirring frequently to break apart. Pour onto waxed paper to cool. Makes 8 1/2 cups. |
