CIDER STEW 
2 lbs. boneless stew meat
2 tbsp. cooking oil
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. thyme
2 c. apple cider
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
3 med. potatoes, quartered
4 carrots
1 sm. onion
1 c. celery

Brown meat in flour and thyme and oil. Simmer meat for 2 hours in apple cider, water, and vinegar. Add potatoes, carrots, onion, and celery. Cook until tender.
