FRIED PIE CRUST 
5 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into dry ingredients, mixing well. Roll out onto floured surface. Fill with favorite filling, sealing well. Fry in deep hot fat until golden brown.
