ORIENTAL BEEF 
2 to 4 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 lb. flank steak, cut in 2 x 1/8 inch strips
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained

Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar and ginger. Coat meat with mixture. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large frying pan or wok. Add green pepper and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove green pepper. Heat remaining oil; add meat and cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until beef is lightly browned. Add green pepper and pineapple; heat thoroughly.
