COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
5 lg. eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. lite salt
1 tbsp. coconut flavoring
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 can angel flake coconut

Start in COLD oven and do not open oven for about an hour.

Mix like any loaf or pound cake. I mix dry ingredients separately, then add to well creamed mixture. Stir in coconut last. Add a small amount of cake coloring (your choice) for a delicate pastel cake. Bake in greased large tube pan at 350 degrees for an hour or a little longer. Bake at a higher heat if your oven requires it to bake. (I bake 1 hour at 400 degrees, then 425 degrees for an additional 25 minutes.
