CREME DE MENTHE BALLS 
2 1/2 c. crushed vanilla wafers
1 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. dry cocoa
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. white creme de menthe
Granulated sugar

Combine first 4 ingredients. Stir in corn syrup and creme de menthe. Add a few drops of water, if necessary, to form mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Store in a cool place in a tightly covered container. Yield: 3 1/2 dozen.
