GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
6 c. cooked potatoes, cut in half "squares" 4 or 5 strips of bacon 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. white vinegar 1/3 c. chopped onion 1 tbsp. flour Salt & water as needed Fry bacon, remove from pan. Add flour and sugar to fat and stir; add vinegar and water until ingredients become as thick as dressing. Add onions and cut bacon; then salt to taste. More vinegar may be added to taste. Serve warm (not hot). |
