1/2 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. apples (red or yellow Delicious), chopped
1 c. raisins
1 c. black walnuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture. Beat well (until soft and buttery looking). Stir in 4 cups apples, raisins and black walnuts. Pour into well greased and floured heavy cake pan or iron skillet. Drizzle on a powdered sugar and milk icing while cake is still warm.
