ROCKY MOUNTAIN FROSTING | |
1/2 c. butter 2 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 c. confectioners sugar (sifted) 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped black walnuts In saucepan, blend butter, flour and salt. Cook 1 minute; do not brown. Add milk; cook until thick. While hot, add brown sugar (firmly packed) beat well. Add 2 cups confectioners sugar; beat until thick and cream. Add vanilla and walnuts. Spread over top and side of cooled cake. |
