EASY OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. oil
5 carrots
3 potatoes
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Mix flour, salt and pepper. Coat beef with mixture. Toss in oil in large casserole. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Stir once. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours.
