1 (9 oz.) yellow or white cake mix
1 can apple pie filling
1/4 c. butter, melted

Grease 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix on bottom. Drop pie filling on top of cake mix. Dribble butter over pie filling. With mixing spoon cut a swath diagonally from corner to corner each way. This will bring small amount of cake mix to the top. Bake at 350 degrees an hour.
