FRUIT PRESERVES 
4 c. mashed fruit
4 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin

Boil fruit and sugar together exactly 20 minutes. Then sprinkle in gelatin (apricot or orange) and boil exactly 10 minutes. Remove from heat; skim foam off and put in clear jelly jars. Seal with paraffin.
