1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla and work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Put on ungreased baking sheet to bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until set, but not browned. Roll in confectioners' sugar while still warm. Cool, roll in sugar again.
