SPICY RAISIN COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. dairy sour cream
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. broken walnuts
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 1/2 c. raisins

Cream together butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Blend in sour cream. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture; mix well. Spread half the batter in greased 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan.

Mix nuts, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half over batter. Top with raisins. Spoon on remaining batter. Top with reserved nut mixture. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 40 minutes. Serve warm.
