2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, unbeaten
1 c. milk

Measure flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar into sifter. Add to egg mixture alternately with milk. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
