ITALIAN COOKIES 
6 c. flour
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. baking powder
6 eggs
2 1/2 c. melted Crisco (6 oz. can)
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. milk
Optional - Add nuts, raisins, anisette

Mix dry ingredients together well. Beat eggs and mix in juice - milk, vanilla and cool melted Crisco. Add nuts, raisins, anisette. Mix dry ingredients a little at a time to wet mix and spoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Cook at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Frost with confectioners' sugar.
