CANDIED LOUISIANA YAMS 
6 med. yams, cooked, peeled and sliced
1/4 c. light corn syrup
3 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped pecans

This casserole may be prepared a day before and refrigerated. Bring to room temperature before placing in oven. Place sliced yams in a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Mix together remaining ingredients; pour over yams. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
