EASY FRUIT CAKE | |
12 oz. mixed fruit 4 oz. sugar 4 oz. butter 1/4 pt. water 1 egg 8 oz. self-rising flour 1. Place fruit, sugar, butter and water in pan. Simmer slowly with lid on for 20 minutes. 3. Allow to cool, then add beaten egg and stir in flour. 3. Pour into greased 6" to 7" tin. 4. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees. |
