1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
16 oz. can Hershey syrup
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Melt the butter and mix it with the syrup. Add the remaining ingredients for the cake and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

For the frosting, mix the milk, butter and sugar together and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute and then add the chips and vanilla. Pour over hot cake.
